Tundra Swans migrate and usually spend the winter in family groups.  This trio, a youngster and two adults, are making their final pass before landing in a field with about 1,000 other swans.  The photo was taken near Pungo Lake, Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, North Carolina.
