Great Egret with chicks Spring is time for renewal and growth. Birds are migrating and beginning to nest, mammals are giving birth, many species of insects are emerging, plants grow and bloom. Birds, like these Great Egrets, early nesters, are hatching.  By summer, their chicks are grown and the next generation enters the real world where they have to make it on their own.   

I am excited and energized by spring.
